Programming is Essential to become a Expert Ethical Hacker.Hackers who use 

Scripts are known as Script Kiddie. Script Kiddie use Scripts to hack into system they are not real Hackers. Thus Programming is Important for you to Become a Ethical Hacker so that you can understand what you are Doing rather than Just using Other Scripts.

• Programming Languages that you should learn to Become a Hacker are :-

• Python – Easy to Learn,Used to Create Hacking Scripts
• Shell Scripting – It is Very Useful to Create Scripts related to Hacking.
• SQL – It is Required to learn Sql Injection
• Ruby – Most Famous tools are Made using Ruby hence Ruby is useful Language to learn.

2. NETWORKING

Networking and Hacking has a Very Good Relation Because of That only we all are Connected and more the connection more problems we phase.

You should learn Atleast Basics of Networking Like LAN,MAN,WAN,HUBS,TOPOLOGY etc.

With the Help of Networking you can Understand How Everything Works,How we are connected to Each Other and all things thus you should learn Basics of Networking.
